Ashland felt so good. The weather was beautiful, and it was so fun to hang out with my mom without any interruptions.

When we weren't downtown and in the theatres, we sat on the porch and did this:

The production of
A Midsummer Night's Dream was phenomenal. I've seen my fair share of plays, and I think it's the best I've seen. It was fun, crazy, and brilliant. Think
Rocky Horror Picture Show meets Shakespeare.
Each year, I'm blown away by the creative genius behind the Ashland productions, but this year I was truly in awe. I'm so glad we decided to go.
And then we danced to Run DMC on the ride home.

i didn't know you were from ashland! i'm from oregon too, (astoria) and my grandparents live in oakland.
from your photo it looks like autumn is beginning to start up there!
I'm actually from the Bay Area. The porch is of the bed and breakfast, where we stayed. This was my fourth visit to Ashland, and it practically feels like home :) Oregon is a beautiful state, no doubt.
