Living.

Today has been practically perfect in every way. It all started with an extra hour of sleep (and a late start at school). It was made better by:

• Fabulous spring weather that invited the wearing of my favorite vintage skirt and fresh air in my classroom.
  
• Much laughter with my new students, whom I absolutely adore.
  
• A visit to the dentist office (wait, hear me out) where I got to see the sweet dental assistant who sat next to me in the waiting room, grabbed my hands and declared, "My favorite patient is here!" Each time I visit, she then goes around the office and tells people that she loves me. Although it's a little obnoxious, it delights my heart. I guess I like to be liked.
  
• A prolonged wandering around my favorite used book store.
• Dinner with my mother and brother. More laughter.
• A trip to Draeger's for cookies (after convincing my mom that it was, in fact, a good idea).
• Nearing bedtime with plans to grade not one paper.
