Can a person who only reads non-fiction truly be a romantic?

There's a beauty in literature that only a true romantic can appreciate. I have no doubt of that. How can one who seeks romance neglect such art?

I think fiction allows you to live outside yourself and imagine things you'd never think about in your own 'world'. When reading fiction you can become someone else for a time. When I re-read Jane Eyre a few years ago, I realized how my love of reading fiction shaped me as I was growing up. The only problem is that sometimes reading about someone else's life can cause me to become discontent with mine, so I have to be careful. So I think if we only read non-fiction we might be missing out on romance in life.
