They didn't reject me.

I happened to log into the University's information system, and, apparently, I was accepted to the MLIS program. I guess that's a good thing.  Maybe I should start thinking about which classes I want to take.

Friday was one of my worst days teaching on record, so Friday night I spent some time looking up jobs on Craig's List. I'm thinking of nannying next year, rather than teaching.  In many full-time, live-out nanny jobs, I could make as much as I do now (including benefits). I could take more classes and move more quickly through the program, and I also think I would enjoy the time with some little ones.

Last night, I slept well, and I'm ready for tomorrow.

That sounds like a nice change for you! I was searching for new jobs after school today too. I found out that I can go to Hayward and teach an SDC class and make $15,000 more per year than I do now. Why oh why did I want to work in Oakland again?

Anyways...good luck with your new endeavor. Sounds like fun!

You would be a fantastic nanny. I also think you're a fantastic teacher. Whichever kids get to have you are lucky!
