The process of getting my homestudy approved has been taking longer than the time period usually alloted. I'm getting antsy. I e-mailed last week, and I did finally hear back this morning. The short story: Everyone's on vacation.
The Adoptions Programs Manager is on vacation until the 14th. The social worker in charge or my homestudy thinks the Adoptions Program Manager will approve it within a couple of days after she returns.
Let's hope so.
I'm glad I bought a home before I pursued foster care. I think it made me a little more numb to the fluid deadlines.
