My freakish nephews
A neat pile of GRADED essays
Rocco's grandmother's quilts atop the armoire
Jen's pregnant belly (okay, so I drove to Hemet to find this one)
Fresh flowers from outside whispering, " 'tis spring"
"Sweet Baby's" crib (a Craig's List find)
Just in case I can't sleep, I can pamper
Okay. I admit it. I have a little obsession with birds.
Let's have tea! Soon!

Ahem. I don't see my painting. I also don't see the Cadbury eggs. Did you eat them on the way to school? That can be the only explanation as to how they didn't make the list.
Ha. I took all these pictures before I had the eggs and the painting. They definitely make me smile.
I actually did think about posting a picture of you in a veil, but I thought that would be too dangerous.
Thanks for the pics of your house, and of Jen! So cute! I like your teapot shelves.
I MISS ALL THOSE THINGS!!
Thanks for finally blogging! I've been checking the whole week for an update. Cameron looks so much like you in that picture. I like your house...it's really cute.
Oh...the Jen picture is my favorite...she's is adorable!
Also...I have a few requests:
1. If I ever visit Nor Cal, can I stay in the Mcgowan Inn? It looks lovely.
2. When 'sweet baby' comes, may I come and hold her/him?
Oh, and hang out with you too. :-)
Steph, Don't you just wanna touch that belly?
Kimmy Poo, they miss you, too.
Thanks, Jess. That's my favorite face to make.
Robin,
I would be absolutely honored to have you in my home and share the little stinker with you.
That stack of graded essays is rather impressive. With rubrics!
So I have been pouring over decor website looking for projects and inspiration. Today, when I was on your blog I was remembering how I always loved how you decorated, so I started scrolling through your blog for pics of your home. Please don't think I am crazy. I have always loved the shabby chic look as well as vintage things, but that ship has sailed on my house, and I must learn to work with what I have, but I am still inspired to repaint some things I have upstairs. I also have been inspired to get my nose out of Craigs list and actually start looking at shops and markets. If you ever give up teaching, you should decorate, or at least write for one of those decor magazines. You could even do that while you teach. You have a lot of talent and a great eye. I may be bugging you for advice in the future.
