Stuff.

My favorite products (in case you need an excuse to buy something new):

Double Rainbow Coffee Blast ice cream (at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods)-
I’m not a huge ice cream fan. In fact, I’ve been known to say, “I don’t even really like ice cream.” Last week, I tasted this, and I changed my mind. Since I rarely have ice cream in my freezer, I’ve never paid attention to the nutrition facts. This stuff is bad, but I’m not sure if it’s worse than other ice cream; you'll have to figure that out on your own. It’s so worth it.

Origins eye shadow-
I used to be anti expensive make-up. It seemed silly to me. Unfortunately, I drop my make-up nearly every morning as I put it on, so the eye shadow would crumble, and I would have to replace it. One of my friends convinced me that her Origins make-up lasts 3x longer than her cheap make-up, making the price worth it. I tried it, and it’s true. It doesn’t even crumble when I drop it. I love their products and their fresh green packaging.

Anything from Etsy.com-
I love buying cards, bags, art, jewelry, baby gifts, and pure joy from artists on Esty. Trust me. It’s wonderful. I feel good about buying handmade, too. It’s my favorite place to shop (other than Anthropologie, of course).

Does Diet Coke count?

Chicken Gorgonzola (frozen at Trader Joe’s)-
The 6ish dollars seems expensive at first, but it has three chicken breasts, and it feeds me three meals. I love the stuff.

Paperwhite candles from Pottery Barn-
In the winter, I love to force paperwhite narcissus bulbs, but this year I think I missed winter (moving et al.). My candles are almost as good.

Benjamin Moore vellum colored paint-
My mother and I both painted large portions of our homes in this yellow color. It’s that great. It’s the perfect mix of bright, butter, and soft.

Real Simple Magazine-
For real. Happiness in the mailbox. I do wish it was grammatically correct, though.

Trader Joe’s Lavender Dryer Bags-
Throw them in the dryer with your sheets and towels, and they can be used for several cycles (8ish). When you’re finished, tear them open and vacuum up the lavender buds. Breathe in relaxation.

J.R. Watkins cleaning products (Target)-
I use the lemon-scented all-purpose cleaner on a daily basis. It smells like freshly cut lemons. I dream I'm buying it because it’s eco-friendly, but I think I buy it because I like the label. I’m a sucker for vintage, simple, clean packaging.

Nielsen- Massey Madagascar Vanilla (cheapest at Cost Plus World Market)-
I pretend this vanilla is superior to other vanillas, but, again, it might be the label.

What are your favorite products/ great finds?

Fun post - I will look into the Origins shadow and the lavendar bags - both sound fun.

I don't seem to have anything unique on my shopping list now that I think about it. Those Snyder of Hanover flavored pretzel pieces are a recent find of mine that I enjoy - especially the cheese kind.

Bumkins brand baby bibs are also great. Flimsy, but tough enough you can put them in the wash. Fun colors too.

Didn't we eat those in college? I don't think they count as a new find :)

ha ha. Recent is relative I guess.

I like Toshiba laptop computers. I know if I was cool I would like apple computers, but I never have been cool. The Toshiba ones last a long time, are designed well, and don't break.

I mostly like buying food and books. abebooks.com is one of my favorite spots for used books. For food, I enjoy Red Robin, and think that $2.77 for a hot dog a churro and a soda at Costco is one of the best lunches ever.

I don't remember eating those in college - maybe it was after I left? I think I would remember the addicting taste :)

Double Rainbow is mmmmmmmm. I like the cherry chocolate chip soy cream and mango vanilla soy cream. Anthropologie, huh? We just got one in Corona and I wish I could afford to give my wife a shopping spree there. Nice stuff. I'm not cool and I've never had a Toshiba, but I sure do love my Apple laptop (3.5 years old and still going strong!). I grew up with HP and Dell and those things would start crapping out after about 2 years. I think Swrv bicycle riding jeans are a pretty great idea, but I don't have any because they cost too many pesos. I am also a big fan of the Trader Joe's buffalo burgers barbequed with mesquite charcoal and served on a cracked wheat bun with pepper jack cheese. Yes.
