This love.

I've waited a long time for this, this thing called love. I believed in it (sometimes only secretly). I knew it would change my life, but part of me never believed it would "happen" to me.

How long can one wait before giving up?

This has been the year of love. The year love took me by surprise and proved to me that it really is what makes life worth living.

I'm a mother and I'm a partner. I sigh in completion. Life feels full and good.

Love is true. And worth it. This, I now say in confidence.
