Dear Klara Baby,
You're eight months old today, Little Girl. I didn't realize it until I sat down to write this letter—just in the nick of time!
You have changed so much this month! You're less snuggly and much busier. You suddenly have a mind of your own, and you let us know exactly what you want through "yelling" (squawking) at me--for food, my phone, the tubing of the nebulizer, etc. You're also quite mobile. You've learned to rock and roll to get whatever it is that you want. Sometimes, you find your way under a pile of books that you've pulled off the shelf, or you become wedged under the chair. It's fun to watch you explore.

Your newest trick is clapping. You bob your head with the beat as other people clap (or sing), and then you clap along. The first day you realized you could clap, you clapped all day long. You were so proud. You also wave "goodbye" to me every morning when I drop you off at daycare. You're learning how to use those hands of yours.
This has been another month of sickness--this time a cold and ear infections; we're on the third antibiotic for these same infections! Mama's so ready for summer--no more sickness and unlimited time with YOU! Seven weeks left of school!
Thank you for making my life so much sweeter. I'm not sure I lived before you; I sure can't remember it.
Mama

She is GORGEOUS!
Thanks, Chappy. You should know a gorgeous baby when you see one since you spend your days with Ellie!
