I'm paying attention.

Pregnancy is a powerful state of being--I'm learning. This is what pregnancy has taught me so far:

Just when I think I have "this" figured out, it changes.

Everyone has advice, and most of it is obvious or annoying. The annoyance is worth the extra patience it requires because, every once in a while, I actually get really insightful advice.

It's possible to be fat and very, very happy. It's much more difficult to be fat and feel cute.

Affordable maternity clothes are ugly. Motherhood Maternity is a store created for masochists. I've never left that store with dry eyes.

Someone is always going to think I'm doing it wrong, and I don't have very thick skin.

And, most importantly and most poignantly, growing a human is an immensely fulfilling task.

forever 21 has great maternity pants, so i hear. my two friends (who both had their babies in april) loved their cheap prices. cheap prices, cheap clothes but you'll grow out of them eventually anyway.

Good thing I know stylish mamas! Although...I didn't fit into Forever 21 clothes before I got pregnant; something tells me they won't fit these days, either ;) I would definitely welcome some maternity fashion advice!!

Whenever I start getting baby fever I look at maternity clothes online. The sheer horror of that thought prevents me from wanting any more children.

I know that isn't helpful at all... but I commiserate.

I like Motherhood Maternity... but then I've never been the most stylish :) I LOVE the secret fit maternity pants. They're pretty much the only pants I can wear comfortably. But, this is #4 and I am very short, so its different. And the Old Navy maternity yoga pants are pretty great - I'm looking forward to wearing them afterward at this point though since they're not fitting that great anymore. You could try consignment stores?
