My mom, my brother, and I went to see Slumdog Millionaire tonight. Go. See. It. It's definitely a theater movie, so try to catch it before it's gone. It's one of my new favorites.
If you have a choice, go with my brother instead of my mom.

You do tend to hate movies that I love (at least recent movies), so I wouldn't be shocked if you didn't like it. We used to have the same taste in movies--back in the days of Benny and Joon and Empire Records.
I was just telling Kevin that we actually like a lot of the same movies. (Hence the joke that you have bad taste in movies). What movies have you recommended lately that I hated? The only one I can think of is the latest Wes Anderson that takes place in India. Gosh, I hated that movie.
Didn't you hate Garden State and Little Miss Sunshine? Motorcylce Diaries? I just remember that, lately, when we talk about movies, we tend to not like the same movies. We did agree about Juno :)

I knew what movie I was talking about. It wasn't worth calling it by name. Oh yeah, I hated Garden State and Little Miss Sunshine. True dat.
