The love corner

I've been reading about feng shui. In an article about feng shui in the bedroom, the author said the far, right corner of the room is the love corner, and the author suggested creating a "love shrine" (with a picture of the couple, etc.). If a person is single, he or she should create a vision for his or her love life in that same corner. Ridiculous, right? Not so fast--I glanced at my far, right corner and noticed that it's the only dark, empty corner in the room! Ha!

Next, the author suggested a single person should make sure there's room in the closet for another person. A packed closet signifies "no room" in one's life for another person. I opened my closet, glanced at all my clothes, and cried/laughed.

I told my mom/Kevin/Jessica about my discoveries. My mom was really anxious for me to get to work changing things. Then she asked when I was going to sign up for Match.com.

Tonight, I'm going to feng shui my bedroom. I have a Goodwill bag at the ready, and Jessica said she would paint me a picture of my dream man. Kidding about the painting, not so much about going through my clothes (even though I do this on a regular basis).

Can't hurt to give it a try...my Aunt was really into all of that for a while and she is married now, so who knows?!?!? Just so you know, I couldn't fit a single thing of Antonio's in my closet though! He has his stuff in the closet in his office, but maybe the articles were referring to normal size closets and not ones from the turn of the century!

Maybe I should do that. The right corner of my room holds my roommate's dresser (now what does that mean?)
And our 'shared' closet? Ha. Looks more like my wardrobe exploded and my roommate own maybe 3 pieces of clothing. Maybe I should clean it out?
