Good article and good insights. Our new church has such an emphasis on grace and the grace and love that says "there is now no condemnation in Christ" it has been a huge encouragement. And this grace sets us free to have unlimited grace on others. Its refreshing. Thanks again friend.
I think grace can be difficult to accept because it usually comes as a shock. We always know what we deserve and when we are given something out of love that we obviously don't deserve it is kind of hard to take. That might not be the case with everyone but I think it is a common struggle when it comes to God's grace. The magnitude at which he was gracious with us can be overwhelming and some find it easier to shy away from it than to accept and embrace it.
I don't think I'm so gracious. I probably would have made the girl sit out and not participate in the festivities.
