I'm bleeding because I cut myself on a package of child safety locks. Oh the irony.

I know it's not funny, but that made me laugh! Love You, Sherry.
i also laughed at the sadness of ironic owies.
--uh at your IronyOwie, I haven't had any recently. that would've just been the weirdest coincidence! :)
I'm here for your entertainment.
By the way, welcome, Val :)
That is pretty ironic. Do you have to have a bunch of child safety locks?
Ha. That just reminded me of the time you fell down our stairs...I know it wasn't ironic that time, but it's still some of make favorite Sherry memories! :) Be careful!
We have to lock up all chemicals and knives. They actually have to be behind lock and key (or magnetic lock and key, in my case). Of all the difficult "things" about this process, surprisingly, this has been one of the most difficult. It's intuitive to install child safety latches and bolt the bookshelves to the wall, but it's so counterintuitive to have "real" locks on so many of my cabinets. I am also required to have a lock that can be locked with a key on the outside of my bedroom door to insure that I have my "own" space. Again, that's odd to me. I've always wanted my house to feel open and welcoming, but I have to lock so many of the areas.
I understand the thinking behind the locks, but I have a hard time with it.
