I bet they were the incompetent folks.
So, we made an appointment to take my car in to have the dent repaired, the scratches buffed out, the floormats replaced (they were recalled), and have the magnishield reapplied. We got up early, drove all the way to Palo Alto, went to the service department only to be told that they don't do body work where we were sent and that MY floor mats were not the kind that had been recalled. We turned around and drove home. Incompetence. Sigh.
In that case, I would have gone shopping. Palo Alto: They know shopping. I'm sorry you had an annoying day, by the way. I hope you had a nice car ride, at least!
