"...sadness rises into the soul like a gas and spreads despair so that you probe for the offending event and can find none."
- Steinbeck's East of Eden
The people around me are moving. They’re getting married, moving to different cities, buying homes, having babies, starting new jobs, traveling, and living life in big ways. I'm trying to celebrate, but I’m getting dizzy.

I completely understand!
My Friend, I am sorry that I have been absent from the blog scene. I have had a lot to deal with, but I am back! (Not that it means a whole lot to you.) Anyway, sometimes the best thing to do is love God even in the mundane, unchanging times of your life when it seems too simple to be real, or even worth living out in a devout and unbridled way; it is then that you will see the glory of God, not in the changing winds of transition, but the consistent times of lackluster life. I hope that helps. If not, Im sorry and I am praying.
p.s. I LOVE that book...
