Church tonight was powerful. We talked about the new commandment, traveled the stairs to the "upper room" for the Lord's Supper, and shared a prayer time in "Gethsemane."
For the first time in two years, tears came to my eyes as I contemplated Christ.
Sacrifice. Forgiveness. Love. Truth. Hope.

What is the new commandment?
Amy
That's amazing Sherry. Thank you for your honesty. Good to hear God is wringing your heart out. Hope things are well.
John 13:34
I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another.
Don't worry, Amy. I'm not going to a church that is making up its own commandments. It's an old-new commandment :) I'm glad that you finally commented!
Beautiful, Sherry.
A thought that has struck me this year leading up to Easter is Christ's obedience. What beautiful submission and obedience to the Father He had. Such a great example for us.
Thanks for sharing and for your gifts in the mail - we will be calling soon.
