Overheard outside of the boys locker room: A freshman football player said, “They [varsity football players] get music during their practice?! We don’t even get music during our games!”
S1: Why are you in Algebra II as a freshman? S2: My parents think I’m smart.
Kimberly said, “They should make Diet Sunkist and Vodka. They’re good together. Like me and you,Sherry.”
The topic was “The best thing in life is…”:“The best thing in life is English. I always look forward to coming to English class everyday, especially with such a cool teacher. English might not be as cool if the teacher wasn’t hip and up to date. In fact, English might be boring if the teacher was old and monotone. I am so glad that I took Honors English with Mrs. McGowan.”My comment: “Kissing up a bit?”
I believe in the power of words-- be they written, spoken, or put to music; my vocation is to communicate the immensity of their power. More than anything, I want my life to matter.

Who give a crap if they were kissing up? People are happy about going to English class?!?!?! Woo-hoo!
Also, I dont know if me and you go together like Diet Sunkist and Vodka and I dont know what ingredient you'd be, either. Sorry.
