At the end of the day today, I fell in a quad full of students. One boy asked me if I was okay, and a group of girls laughed at me. I have a bruised ego, rocks in my palm, and bloody knees (through my pants, mind you). I told my colleague what happened and he said, "No way! That's great! [insert insulting laughter]" Sympathy, please?
The up side? I was so flustered that I packed my teacher bag and went home. I made it home in time for Oprah!

I think today you should try another stunt, in the quad, and explain matter of factly to them that you are on the commitee for comedy relief for students. Tell them yesterday was planned, and to look forward to more events in the future.
Yesterday, when I was talking to the secretary, a leaf from the plant I had just received managed to find its way up my nose. We had a good laugh about that. Oh, dear.
I was reading this today while my kids were taking a test. I was stifling giggles. Thanks.

No rolling bags. My teacher bag is quite cute:) Rolling bags, however, are becoming more "cool" at the elementary level. Their little backs are sighing a sign of relief.
My mother, on the other hand, does have a rolling cart that she uses at school. I mock her incessently.
