I hate Christmas parties unless they're mine. I absolutely love to have people over, but that's the only time I'm comfortable in a big group of people...when they're my group of people. The idea of going to a party (including, but not limited to, a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday party, Bar Mitzvah...) outside of the comfort of our apartment gives me hives. Melissa and I thought it would be fun to have a Christmas party Wednesday...I hope we don't cause anybody hives. And...if you really don't want to come...please don't. I understand how you feel.

Oh Sherry. The older we get, the more similar it seems we are. I don't think I've ever had the joyous experience of hives, but I'm not far behind you. I should like to attend your party. I'll see what I can do :-)
